Floor bed for baby?

Our little boy is 9 months old and has been in his own room for about two months now and did okay for the first month but now just loves to be in our bed, which I wouldn't mind but with my partners work schedule he ends up getting disrupted, he naps in the bed as he just sleeps better, I wondered if getting him a floor bed might help this problem did anyone else do this?baby

A floor bed is great if you can get in it with him (for example, you can fit a double in his room). The bed itself won’t make much difference if you’re just planning to have him sleep on his own though (as he’ll just crawl around the room looking for you if you aren’t there). We also had one in our room so they could bring themselves in to sleep close to us.
