Potty training - when to go out?

24 month old decided to potty train himself pretty much yesterday. He had a full day of no accidents and using the potty when needed. As I wasn’t expecting it we’ve pre booked lots of activities for this week. I have a travel potty, can I just pop a pull up on him and still let him sit on the potty outside or is this going to confuse things? I just don’t want to miss out on the things we’ve planned and also for older DC to miss out.

don’t put pull ups on, put him
in pants, be brave and prepare for accidents. Take potty with you everywhere. Plop him on it intermittently. Sounds like he’s smashing it anyway!

Yes dont put a nappy on now itll confuse everything. As PP says just take lots of spare clothes and go for it with travel potty. Constantly remind/ ask if they need to go as much as every 5 mins.

I found potty training one if the biggest young children wins, its so worth sticking to it!

Take spare clothes, travel potty, frequent toilet trips and a pull up in case of emergency!
