today DS peeed in the potty for the furst time this morning, I sat him on it in front of tv...cue lots of praise....
he didnt want to wear big boy pants so the nappy went back on (not a pull up) for the day...

what next...same thing tomorrow?

Just leave the potty around, give him loads of opportunitys to use it - if you can the 'nothing below the waist' tactic lets them see if they start weeing, and means theres nothing to stop them getting on the potty straight away. You could also offer it at each nappy change.

We are at that stage too, dd now takes her nappy off and wee's on the potty quite a lot but if I put her in knickers she just constantly wee's everywhere.
i also don't really know where top go next. I want to just bite the bullet (I have done this before) but I get so streesed clearing up all day and not sure how you tell if they are actually ready.
