Toddler sick twice - yellow/green

My DD (23 months) was unsettled in the night with tummy pains and vomited first thing this morning twice over the space of a few hours. The vomit was a bright yellow/green though. Has ate some plain toast and drank water since and no more vomits, seems okay but very clingy and tired.

Does this just sound like a bug? I googled and it says green/yellow vomit is not good and to contact a doctor - but I just presume it’s because first thing in the morning her tummy was empty? Worrying now, FTM!

Sounds like a bug. If they're keeping food down now you're over the worst. I would be bleaching toilet, buckets and anti-baccing the door handles and light switches to prevent the spread. Keep them off nursery or out of social area for 48 hours

I’ve bleached the bucket and wiped down handles, washed hands and cot bedding etc. Don’t hold much hope for myself as I was catching it in said bucket!

You'd be surprised. My ds has been sick quite a bit and the rest of the family have been fine.

Yellow vomit tends to be mostly bile. It just means he’s been sick on an empty stomach, which is what you’d expect first thing in the morning.

It’s dark green vomiting that looks like obs water that is not good.
