Tis on backwards.

I am saying 10 mins max if he doesn't give up and fall asleep.

Other suggestions?

I think once alone in his bed your talking 3 especially if in pj bottoms and not a bodysuit.....

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2008 19:14

Bodysuit doesn't stop him. We tried bodysuit AND sleepsuit the other night (completely ignoring heat) and he had em off in about 3 mins.

They are being very noisy... will go check and see if it has been dumped over gate as per usual.

Brute force it seems - tabs still attached to velcroy bit.

I think he will be the envy of male strippers all over for his speed when he is in his prime lol!

Nappyzoneneedsanewname · 15/06/2008 19:16

pmsl - go flameboy!

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2008 19:17

I am considering just getting him a big fleece blanket (wash n dry quick) and changing his sheets lots.

I can't do this battle much more.

If their room was tidy it would be easier just to ignore him, but the thought of p*ssed on barbies and teddies is just nasty

aww sorry... shouldnt laugh i have this to come..... could you put him to bed bottom less then sort of sneak one on or how about pullups?

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2008 19:20

Sneaking is the plan later - hoping it works!!

Pull ups come off just as quick (in harvester yesterday - thankfully they were just wet). Even tried to convince him to wear pants (at least catch some of it) and was having none of it.

Have you tried sewing up the bodysuit so he cannot undoo the poppers (if this is how he is getting it off, no good if he is getting his arms out and then pulling it down. You cannot literally sew him in his clothes!!

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2008 19:31

he goes either way - depending on how wide the neck is

Ok does he sleep in a grobag? Try putting it on back to front. Or we used packing tape around the whole of dd's nappy sorry if that sounds like torture! (Worked a treat, she was 2.5 yrs and forgot after a few weeks and was then never a problem)

nappyelite · 15/06/2008 21:27

you could sew up the bodysuit, then leave the croth part and the top of leg poppers openable, put it on him over his head then bring the legs in, then sew him into it and break the stitches in the morning
Or just sew it up as above then fit it on back to front
He'll wear himself out trying to figure out how to get it undone lol

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2008 21:36

We're getting to the packing tape stage. Have been desperately trying to avoid it (mainly because it will be hell to get off), but am getting desperate.

He has gone to bed in pants and will nappy him in a bit.

Loving the idea of sewing him into all clothes

That sounds like a good plan

The fighting the nappy on him is seeming like more hassle than the sheet washing would be.

Have promised him a nappy free day tomorrow

Lol - I will tell everyone in years to come that it was YOUR fault!

Nappy free day is going quite well - a few voluntary wees and a poo on potty. One open back door and wee on the path , and one on my sofa. Tis early days though.

Dunno what to do about nursery on Weds morning.
