I’m after some advice/experiences about my 9 week daughter. She was delivered naturally (under 3 hours) and had a lot of mucus when born. I was advised that she would bring this up and it would pass. However, she can often be sick (spit up) after a bottle which can be milk based, but also can be sick (clear) even after 2-3 hours after her feed. We keep her upright for 30 mins sometimes longer after a feed and burps quite easily. During her sleep, she will occasionally wake up like she’s going to choke (which is when clear sick appears, sometimes dribbled out, sometimes there’s quite a bit) and she has choked during sleep (lying flat) 3 times which is when the mucus/clear liquid appears (this is my worst fear and can be scary, once she’s been picked up she’s ok) I’m just seeing if anyone has had the same sort of experience and what was best for you. She doesn’t show discomfort or cries after her feed, doesn’t arch her back etc. I don’t believe it’s reflux, more mucus based but I’m just so unsure and trying to work out if this will pass and is ‘normal’ or if I can do anything to help.
