Feeding around Swim Class - 11 weeks old

My baby has his first of 8 swimming lessons tomorrow from 4-4:30pm

He’s exclusively formula fed and our routine is first feed 7am/7:30am ish depending on when he wakes.

Then it’s - 10.15/10.30am, then around 1:45pm, 4:45/5pm, 8pm and 11:30pm

His swimming is 4pm and it takes me 30 mins to arrive. Should I just feed as normal, at 1:45pm and then wait until I’m home as I’ll be home for just after 5pm. Or should I try and delay his 1:45pm feed to 2:15pm?

or should I add an additional smaller feed at 3pm before I leave like a top up?

sorry if this seems an odd question we are just set in a routine of 6 x 5oz feeds per day.

thanks!

Top up, I’d say and be prepared for a top up after the swim before home in case he gets very hungry!

I would be feeding on demand at this age, just give him formula when he's hungry. You could take some with you as well as he might be hungry after swimming, I always am!

Is there any way of feeding at swimming before you travel home? Swimming might make your baby very hungry.

Edited to add: don't underestimate changing time. It will probably be 4.50 before you are dried and dressed, so home 5.20. Ideally a feed before travelling home would stop it getting too late.

Surely get dressed after swimming then feed at the pool/leisure centre before you go home which will be bang on his usual feed time, also he’s likely be hungry after swimming.

I'd take a bottle and feed him as soon as he's dry. Swimming and temperature regulation takes a lot of energy so he'll probably be starving. Mine were BF on demand but i often ended up sat naked in towels in the cubicle while they fed, as they were to unconsolable to wait until we were both dressed. They're primary school age now and I still put a snack in the swim bag.
