Mattress recommendation for 4 year old?

About to move my 4 year old from his toddler bed into a full sized single bed but I’m so overwhelmed with mattress options! Don’t want to spend a fortune (budget £100-£250ish) but also want it to be comfy and last a decent amount of time. He’s a front sleeper.

Hit me up with your recommendations!

IKEA. Don’t forget to add a waterproof mattress protector

I don't think you need a recommendation, just go to Ikea/any furniture shop and buy a cheap ish one in your budget.

TBH the three single mattresses we have at home for the DC are

£60 Aldi middle aisle
Whatever the second-cheapest IKEA mattress was
One I found on clearance at a furniture store by coincidence when DS3 was about 3 and we knew we'd need to move him from his toddler bed at some point.

They have all been absolutely fine. Two of them are over 10 years old.

Adults need expensive mattresses for the support but children are so light they don't need anything specialised. I would avoid the really thin/hard foam mattresses which are the absolute cheapest but that's all really.
