To have told off these kids

I pay for swimming lessons, more expensive ones at a private pool where the class is no more than 3. Because it's a private pool, there is no lifeguard. There are parents who sit by the side while the lessons go on. These 3 boys who arrive for their lessons after my child's lessons seem a bit hyper and mess around at the poolside, splashing the teacher, kicking their legs on the waterside and jumping and running around. This week they were literally just running around the poolside and the teacher had to stop my child's lesson to talk to them, they then ignored him and carried on. I was so annoyed because the parents were just ignoring the whole situation and chatting amongst themselves. I eventually went over and spoke with them myself.

I'm not sure if this happens again next week whether I'm brave enough to talk directly to the parents. Is there a polite way to say, watch your f-ing kids without sounding confrontational?

I’d have told them off too. But I probably also have told the parents off as well.

I would have expected the teacher to do a better job of disciplining them. I’d have been pretty unimpressed tbh.

And I would have expected the parents to react when they were told off by the teacher.

But given that neither of those things happened I would have addressed their behaviour with the children too. It’s safety issue
