Q about bed wetting

My son is 3y11m and has been consistently dry overnight since 3y5m (dry in the day about 9 months prior). Evidently he does have the hormone and developed it early. But now and again, maybe once every two months, he’ll wet the bed. What causes you to randomly do it? His drinking routine before bed is identical each night so it’s random . Obviously no issue at all but after changing his bed at 3am it did make me think - why?!

Being in a very deep sleep? I did it until I was 12. I had absolutely no idea it was happening. My mother made my life miserable about it to the extent that I’m now in my sixties and still have nightmares about it.

His body is still adjusting. I find it makes a difference if they drink less water than usual. As in less water leads to an accident at night. I think this is quite a normal pattern until they are 7/8 (but usually most children are nighttime dry much later than 3).
