Tough but tween-friendly phone case

My DD dropped her iPhone12 and the back glass smashed. We paid to repair it but the same thing has happened again less than 3 months later. It's not entirely her fault - she is careful but I guess it is vulnerable now it's been repaired and more likely to break again. It has to last at least 1.5 more years so I've told her the only way forward is to have a heavier-duty case. She is currently upstairs sobbing at the humiliation, as she is a typical socially-awkward tween and doesn't want a black armoured monstrosity. Can anyone recommend a tough phone case that is also vagely acceptable to a fashion-conscious tweenager?

My son has a hideous black, robust one but he's got phone charms and stickers on it. Would that compromise work?

Get an Otter Box. I don't understand how it's not her fault that she dropped it twice? How old is she because crying over a phone case sounds really extreme.
