Help me choose a nursery for my DD

So im in Northern Ireland and I am trying to choose between two possible Nursery options.

  1. The local school nursery, her sister attends the school, its walkable, she will be attending the school the following year. However its only for 2.5 hours and then we would need to pay for private daycare afterwards which is expensive or on our day off keep her entertained until we collect her sister.
  2. A playgroup which is about a 10 minute drive away, its not part of a school so no teacher however it provided 4 hours funded nursery everyday and has a breakfast club and wrap around which is much cheaper overall and will provide her 4 hours with peers everyday. The downside is the logistics getting both girls in in the morning, the fact theres no teacher, she will likely not know many starting school the following year it will be a lot of changes for her as she has attended the private daycare since shes 1.
Anyone have any advice or suggestions? Really undecided, the difference in price will be about £400 or so

Can you afford the price difference? If not, that decides it.

If you can, I'd go for the school setting. It will benefit her more in the long run.

Yes we can afford it but only because we're very stretched, would be helpful to have the extra money to put towards saving to move and just more activities etc

School would be best but if there are issues with childcare and cost then you have to go with head not heart
