What sort of inhalers? For asthma, like a baby-haler?

malfoy · 13/06/2008 11:46

yes for asthma. no, for a grown up.

my friend is feeling wheezy. she is 38!

She's not on meds? They come with an inhaler.

She left her inhaler at home (London) & is pending the weekend in Paris with my sister's cat, hence the wheeziness.

She is not on any specific meds at the moment. The antihistamines are not strong enough too fight the cat.

Hmm, yeah. My dd has exactly the same problem. Asthma from cats. Bad news. She'll have to see a gp, I think. So she should go to the nearest pharmacie & if they don't give her one otc, she can ask for the name of a gp. France is a nation of hypochondriacs so no problem finding one to see her immediately. And they're not expensive - maybe even free of charge for something like this.

If the pharmacy won't give her an inhaler, I mean!

malfoy · 13/06/2008 13:01

thanks. I will bully her into going to the pharmacie now. It is always stressful being ill in a foreign country.

I'm sure they will give her one over the counter. If not I'm in the Dordogne/Charente and have one if you are desperate!
