My 13 month old having trouble sleeping

My 13 month old son has started waking up as soon as I put him down and crying but I don’t understand why. Normally I’ll BF him till he’s asleep then he’s out for a few hours but as soon as I put him in his cot he wakes up and I feed him again till he’s back to sleep then put him down and he’s awake again. I’m absolutely exhausted as he’s doing it at night and during the day I just don’t know what to do

Teeth. It's always bloody teeth. I'd give nurofen an hour before you start getting him to sleep.

I had a terrible time with sleep for my LO at 13 months, because they realised they could stand up in their cot. It took a good three weeks to work itself out.

If Calpol doesn't work, you might need to work on breaking the feed to sleep pattern. My LO suddenly stopped breastfeeding to sleep at 6.5 months, it was a nightmare at the time but did mean we had to get them to fall asleep independently & that's pretty useful now (18 months).
