Hip issues

My long awaited first baby is due in a couple of weeks. She has been in various positions during the third trimester. She was transverse, then moved to head down and is now breech. Not sure if she will turn again but we have been warned about potential hip displasia, etc. just wondering if other parents had experienced this and how they got on.

I’ve had two transverse babies. The risk is still low in absolute terms, so it’s not something that you need to be really worried about. Both my Dads had a physical hip check at birth, then an ultrasound at about 6 weeks. No issues with either of them.
