Chicken Pox - I’m going stir crazy!

DS2 has chicken pox, he’s absolutely fine! Thankfully we have a rather mild case and other than a couple of mega itchy ones he’s not been bothered at all by them.
He’s a very active little boy and likes to be out and about at groups etc and honestly, I’m struggling keeping him indoors and entertaining him. He’s not one for watching lots of TV, won’t sit down and watch a movie etc and im trying to find activities we can do to fill the time!

So far I plan to make biscuits, decorate said biscuits, make rainbow toast, eat rainbow toast, make play dough but then I’m kind of at a loss! So if anyone has any great activities that will keep him entertained over the next few days please help!
He isn’t one for messy play, so things likes oobleck etc are off the cards! TIA!

You can take him outside to places which don’t have other people.

Look up lockdown parenting ideas. What kind of things does he like doing?

Thank you for this! I’ll have a look!

i was thinking about taking him to he woods (which he loves!) but it’s all weather depending as well!
He just loves being out and about, parks, soft play, socialising! Loves cars and car tracks but I’ve honestly played cars for the last 3 days and it’s more myself that needs something different 😂

He can go outside! Just let him have a run around not near anyone else. Unless you’re in Central London and need to tube/bus, there’s plenty of places to get outside. Treat it like COVID times and go for a twice daily run around. Even in the rain and wind, better than being inside.
