My children demand their father constantly and it is driving me crazy!!! My oldest DD (4) has always been v attached to DH and gets upset when he goes to work in the morning and then asks for him throughout the day and then from about 4pm onwards it's constant whining along the lines of 'when's daddy coming back?', 'I want my daddy', 'I jsut love him so much', 'I miss daddy'
etc etc. But now my two year old DD has started with the 'Where's Daddy' etc

I'm delighted they are so attached to Dh, who is a great dad, but the constant whining is driving me crazy. They see him plenty, he doesn't work particularly long hours (out of the house 8am-6.30ish), he baths them and puts them to bed, is around every weekend. How can I get them to stop?!

Ignore the whining. It is learnt behaviour as they usually get a response. Make them up a clock so they can what happenes when and they will see as it gets closer to coming home time for Daddy. If they ask nicely, tell them. If they whinge, ignore them.
