Activities for tomboys

My 5yr old has always had best friends who are boys - she's very petite and not very physical, so we're not talking football and competitive tree climbing, but she goes every time for the quieter boys who like to play complicated imaginative adventure games (including Star Wars!). Now she is at school even these boys are obliged to be girl-phobic to some degree - so I'm wondering what kind of out of school activities or clubs we could try that aren't too girly and where she might get to meet some boys to play with - any suggestions????

Beavers are now taking girls from ages 5 and three quarters/6 years old, so maybe she's too young just yet but something to consider.

A good group will do walks, crafts, games, scouting skills etc - there's something for everyone.

Thanks Doodle2U - by concidence I spoke to a mum at school yesterday whose son does Beavers and she suggested it might be just the thing! She's 6 in August so maybe we can give it a try before term ends. Thanks again!
