Hi all,

Happy new years. I’d really value some feedback from current parents of primary/secondary aged pupils

I’ve been working on a series of short videos on children’s health and wellbeing, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether you'd find these sorts of videos helpful

Here’s one example: How do video games affect pupil wellbeing? 🎮🧠

. It’s an interview with an Oxford researcher

I’d love to know:

  • Would you watch this if it came via a school app/newsletter, or ignore it?
  • Would you like a shorter/longer video?
  • What other topics would you be most interested in (sleep, screen time, bullying, etc.)?

Any other thoughts are very welcome.

Thanks!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Nope I wouldn’t watch it.

  • too long
  • I would prefer to read an article
  • I would want to know your credential.
  • ‘Just’ having a PhD isn’t enough. I said just because a PhD is an achievement just not enough to change my parenting
  • I would want to know who is funding your research
  • I would like to know if you have looked ND and NT children and the impact of gaming all together or as seperate groups

@Clutterbug2026 thank you. Super helpful feedback.

Follow-up question - would you prefer to see parent also featured in video/article?

Nope, I just want hard data in the shortest form.
