Primary Schools in Hemel Hempstead Herts

Aware these are in different catchment areas but looking for any parents in Hemel Hempstead that have recent experiences with Boxmoor Primary School or Gade Valley Primary School - any good/bad feedback. Thank you.

Boxmoor is a lovely, small, one intake 'village feel' school with an active PTA and long serving head. The reality though is that it's over subscribed so it needs to be your closest by distance to get in, as with most schools in that area of Hemel I understand. You can search for the previous years admissions statistics to see how far away the furthest child admitted was and how many 'not closest school' allocations there were. For Boxmoor this year it was about 1.5km I think but in previous years the furthest child has been under 500m!
