Depends where you are going to be using it, you'll have very different needs if you are using lots of public transport to if you are doing lots of walking in the countryside for example

I’d look at the Vista. It isn’t any bigger than a standard single so you fit through normal doorways and down pavements. The basket is nice a roomy. And in 6-12 months when your toddler doesn’t need a pram any more you can use it as a single with a buggy board.

l have a deryan which i really like, i can use my maxi cosi car seat in it too but needed the attachment.

most of the double prams seem to be side by side but i went for this one as it’s a double decker so it would work on narrow-ish pavements.

Mountain Buggy Duet - loved it and was sad to sell it!

Mountain buggy duet, best pram ever.

I have a 2.5 year age gap.

When baby was small we used the carrier and toddler was in the pushchair. And then we moved on to using a buggy board, and I always kept the carrier underneath in case DS1 fell asleep when we were out, etc so that he could go into the pushchair and DS2 would go in the carrier.

Obviously up to you on whether you get a double pram, but you don’t need one with this age gap.

We had the Ickle bubba Venus prime which comes with a carrycot to attach onto one seat for a newborn. Great pram and very sturdy, nice to push, but doesn’t fit through a normal single door if that bothers you.

If you’re ever anywhere that isn’t just pavement - Out n About Nipper Double, best double there is, so easy to push even with one hand fully loaded with kids and stuff

I really wanted a nipper or mountain duo but couldn’t justify the cost when my 2.5 year old would probably only need a buggy for a year or less.

Got the my child easy double in the end, it’s been great. Slim so fits through standard doors, my newborn used the bassinet until 6 months even though she’s a big baby. I use it every day on the school run. I do have an icandy but wasn’t keen to convert that to double as my 2 year old would hate the tandem set up and I thought it would be unstable up kerbs etc. It’s also quite nice for dds to be able sit next to each other and actually see/interact with each other which you don’t get with a tandem.
