Throwing head back

Since 10m old my little one started throwing her head back as if to look at the lights or ceiling. She's continued to do it for a few months now but it's more often. It's not necessarily linked to excitement or frustration but she does seem to be quite sensory seeking so I'm not sure if it's part of that? She hit all her milestones early and obviously she's too young to be diagnosed with anything but I don't know if it is a cause for worry or if this is just a stage that they go through?

Mine did this for a couple of months and no longer does it. It's probably fine but if you have concerns then you could always raise with your home visitor?

Thank you. I did speak to health visitor who said she was just discovering her muscles but it was only the odd time she would do it at that point. Now it's a lot every day. If yours went through a phase of this too then that really helps me be a bit less concerned!

My son throws his head back as one of his tics which is quite common. Although I’m not sure if that’s what your describing.
