What to dress baby in for bed?!

Everything I see is different!
if it’s between 18-21 degrees C what am I putting my baby in?
at the moment she is in a 2.5tog sleep bag with just a sleep suit underneath but her hands are always freezing in the night or when I pick her up first thing in the morning.

I usually have a short-sleeved body suit and a full baby grow under a 2.5 tog sleeping bag. This is for temperatures of 16-18.5 degrees C. For higher temperatures I dress her with the same clothes but swap for a 1.5 tog sleeping bag (around 18.5 - 21 degrees). At higher temperatures I just use a sheet but same clothes.

It really depends on the baby though, as my other children enjoyed being warmer and this baby gets really sweaty very quickly.

Anyway, if they are too cold at night - they wake up. If you are worried, shove a short-sleeved baby grow (or T-shirt) underneath and see if they sleep better.

I followed the safe sleep guides and tbh I think my little man was cold and contributed to his poor sleeping. We cool down significantly in the night lying still. I always had his hands covered though til he was old enough to yank socks off his hands at about 6 months. Its a minefield as you want them safe and not over heating isn't it :(
