Hello,

we’ve hit the 4 month sleep regression! Does anybody have any tips to help? We’re up at every two hours again. What is your bedtime routines?

Bath, story, boob. He's almost 18 months and still the same routine. Unless I'm not there, in which case his dad or nanny will sing and rock him to sleep.

Sleep goes up and down, it's not linear so don't stress too much. It will improve by 6 months then go downhill again when teething. Then closer to 9-12 months when they're walking and you go to lots of playgroups, they'll start getting sick. Then molars at 12 months. Then nursery bugs are relentless.

Hang in there, do whatever it takes to stay same and remember they can't keep it up forever, even if it feels like it! We took turns at lie-ins and DH slept on the sofa a few nights, but we were both back at work so shared the nights. Mine's 8 months now, and slowly coming out of regressions and teething. At 3 months it was 45mins and we're now up to every 4 hours
