12 month stopped self feeding after illness

My DD had a really nasty bug at the beginning of November. She went totally off her food and milk. She was prescribed diflam spray as she probably had a sore throat.

Shes back to her self now albeit always got a runny nose.
However since that illness, she won’t feed herself anymore. She just stares at her food. She used to be able to pick her food up and put it in her mouth but now she doesn’t anymore. If I put it in her mouth, she will eat it.

She has 5oz cows milk 3x a day. She has a weetabix in the morning, which I feed her.

Not sure what to do? Why isn’t she feeding? She goes to nursery where I think they spoon fed so I’m not sure if she’s expecting the same? They do encourage self feeding too. However she’s been going there for 2 months and the first month, it actually improved her eating habits are home so not sure why she’s regressed??

If you didn’t give her any milk, would she be hungry and eat?

The first cup is first thing the morning, she still has a full bowl of weetabix in the morning. Second cup is after her nap and last cup is before bed.

She does eat…. She just wants me to feed her otherwise she will just stare at the food.

So try not giving the milk, just the weetabix, and see if she’s hungry enough to eat it. She won’t feed herself if she’s not hungry and someone else will do it.

My DS is almost 18 months. He goes through periods of insisting on self feeding and periods where he wants me to help. I don't see the issue.
