Clean ups/protection

Baby GoodBits has been doing his poos in the toilet since about 13mo, and has been in pull-ups for a couple of months (he is nearly 2 now). We have very few accidents when at home, but more when out as don't always get to a loo in time.

Anyway I would like to try a nappy free day - tomorrow, and we will be at home probably for two days.

My question is how do I protect things like the buggy, car seat etc? As if there is an accident I don't want baby to be feeling wet and uncomfortable.

Also how do you clean wee from a carpet??

How did Baby Goodbits get on today?

You could just protect a car seat or buggy with something like an old towel but there are various seat protectors on the market. I've found Buppy pads are good.

See www.buppy.co.uk

sThanks for that reiver. I never thought of using towels - duh! I shall check out the buppy pads too.

Yesterday wasn't great though. He went through seven pairs of pants and two t-shirts, and I had to change my trousers once!

Today we are a little better...so far.

The weird thing is though in the afternoon he does a wee every 20mins/half hour, invariably not on the loo. Whereas when he was in pull-ups I would take him to the loo every hour and a half or so and he would be dry and do a wee in the loo.

No idea what that is all about.
