Struggling with sleep

Hi guys, I’ve got a 7 month old baby and she’s been a good sleeper tbh until recently the past week or 2, the earliest she goes to sleep atm is 12.30am and that’s rare - normally she is awake until 3/4am then we don’t wake her until 2pm ish because we want her to get some sleep and feel cruel waking her so early if she hasn’t been asleep long. I don’t really know what to do anymore, we’ve tried napping in the day (she goes to sleep for a couple of hours then wakes up for hours until 4am) she’s had no naps in the day and she still doesn’t go to sleep until so so late. Any advice please ?? 🙏🏼

You need to recalibrate her and get her to sleep much much earlier and wake much much earlier …. Melatonin the sleep hormone is activated when the sun goes down. Try slowing bringing it to a much much earlier wake time firstly and then she should go to bed at a more reasonable time

she’s in a bad cycle right now so she still needs sleep but it needs to be adjusted

Day 1 wake at 1.30 pm
Day 2 wake at 1.15
day 3 wake at 1

etc etc gently but with consistency bring it back till she is awake at 8am - don’t let her have too many naps though and throw it all out by excessive napping hopefully as you bring it back she will go to bed earlier and earlier

If she’s 7 she should be starting solids soon so needs to be eating normal times too

We have tried getting her up early but she still doesn’t sleep until super late but will try this thank you
