Foot muff for carry cot

Hi all! Do we insert a foot muff on top of the mattress with the carry cot in winters? We are setting up our pram and it’s not clear if foot muff is just for the pram seat or for the carry cot as well.. Thanks in advance!

A footmuff in the carry cot will get too hot. We did pramsuit, blanket then pram apron over the top. Save the footmuff for when you switch into the seat.

A footmuff is just for the pram seat. Definitely don’t put it in the bassinet baby will get too hot.

Definitely only meant for the pram seat. You should have a fitted sheet for the carry cot to go over the mattress. Baby lies on that in a pram suit and then you tuck a blanket over them. Most carrycots have an ‘apron’ (cover) that poppers or zips over the top as well to keep the wind out / rain off.
