How much contact ?

Ex has 8 year old the same 2 nights every week and 1 weekend a month. Obviously 8 year old doesn't have a phone so can't contact me. Ex tends to get his partner to drop dc at school on Wednesday then will message me on Sunday to ask how she is and tell her he'll see her tomorrow.
Is 5 days a long time to not check on your child ?

Anyone ?

Presumably you'd message him if there was a problem?

I would but I find it strange to not check in with the mother of your fairly young child more than once in 5 days.
