He's just turned two and just started to do it. Usually when he's upset or wants something. Just self regulatory and nothing to be concerned?

Sorry that should be hand flapping

Could be normal or could be frustration if their communication isn’t quite where it should be. How does he do on this simple progress checker?

Thanks. He passed the 18 month but didn't pass the 30 month one.

So how old is he exactly? The checker advises you to do the one down rather than doing a progress checker aimed at assessing older DC.

ah hope you have a lovely day tomorrow. Could you try the 2 year check on the link I posted to? Smile

Sounds regulatory to me? My NT little one still physically regulates themself if they can't verbally communicate. Decreased as they got better at talking but he still flaps / bites hand if he gets frustrated. My family member is a play therapist & says it in isolation isnt a sign of concern.

Yes sorry I did edit my post but it didn't work.

So I don't know about his words as I feel he doesn't spend enough time with me/I don't know what I'm looking for. He can understand what I'm asking the vast majority of the time.and tries to talk to me as well. Tries to guess colours when we are at football etc

It can be a sign of autism I believe but not on its own. It could well be born of a struggle to communicate. But you should flag it with the GP.
