What age did your kids get a trampoline?

Ds will be 4 in decmeber and DD 2 in January

Both love jumping and do it on the couch their beds etc ! Haha

One set of grandparents mentioned it as a joint Christmas present. An outdoor one for the garden as they lovenoutdoors etc and the kids cousins have one with the youngest of that 3 being our DS' age

I feel is it too young though especially for DD who will just have turned 2? But adores her big brother and wants to copy everything he does so would be straight on with him trying to do what he was

My DC have always had a trampoline as their half sister’s was sat in our garden for years before they arrived. I think 4 and 2 is fine for a trampoline, it’s a great way to burn off excess energy and tire them out before bed. Why do you think they are too young? It’s no different from them going on a bouncy castle really.

2 and 4. Ours is spring free which is the safest.

Thanks ! It was more i think I read somewhere their bones are softer and more likely to break? I got scared id always supervise of course !

But that made me scared. But again im from a house of 'youre never getting a trampoline too many kids end up in a and e with broken bones because of it'

And yeah I thought this as were getting a new couch delivered next month so ideally they would have something else to jump on 🤣

DD1 was 5 but DD2 who is just gone 2 has loved bouncing on it for months. It has a net around it and she is fully supervised and we tend to only let her on it when it's just her so DD1 doesn't accidentally fall on her.
