Is it normal that it seems good?

He went to the cinema the other week to see Paw Patrol chrismas and enjoyed it he sat for the hour and little bit it was on as he does like paw patrol overall

Playing with cars and magnatiles he can sit and do that for id say 20 min max then he'll hop up and ask to do something or play a song etc

Hes good at independent play and has a 1yo sister who he can play with

But he seems id say normal activity we walk everywhere he doesnt have a pram and when I set activities up thats like 2 to 5 minutes before he tips it or trashes it lol

Is it normal he can concentrate

He doesnt have the biggest listening ears aha we take him swimming lessons and he is the class clown a bit in extracurricular stuff

So its more is his activity and ability to concentrate on some things sound normal x

I’m not seeing much evidence that he “can concentrate” in any way shape or form differently to loads of other 4 year olds. Much less than some. Much more than others. Around the same as many.

Main things he can concentrate on sre

His car / Magna tiles / lego and stories. He loves us reading him books. TV shows he liks he can sit through and asks for now and then
Can walk a lot he walks everywhere and does swimming extracurricular

Pre school dont seem to have concerns that he sits too much and can concentrate too much or too little

I just wondered

Sounds totally normal. The activities he doesn't concentrate on he probably just doesn't like very much! My 4yo sounds pretty similar.

I’m not completely sure what to make of this post. It’s quite odd that you’re worrying that he can concentrate.

My four year old would sit through a movie at the cinema and plays independently for an hour or more at a time. He’ll sit and read books for a good 20 minutes to half an hour quietly in his room. Not sure why he’d have a pram at this age either. Trashing activities would drive me demented. I’m a bit confused by that. You say you think he concentrates well but then you say he tips toys out or trashes things after 5 minutes. I’d never accept that from my four year old personally, but overall he sounds like a normal little lad.
