Fwiw, my dd is a bit younger than yours & hits a LOT - esp her brother - I don't think i deal with it half as well as you have

She's very young, you have been amply strict but not cruel.

I think a mistake we parents make sometimes is that we know we are doing the right thing, so we subconsciously expect the child to be happy about it - and when they start blarting and whining, we worry if we have done a bad thing!

We haven't, it's them in the wrong, not us!
