Should I feed baby before bath and bed?

My little one is nearly 9 weeks old, she can never seem to finish her last bottle before we put her down for the night and sometimes only drinks half. She then wakes in the night but I’m sure if she had a full feed that she may stay asleep for longer.

im considering giving her a feed before her bath and then doing bath and a story then bed.

has anyone else experienced this and managed to switch it up?

It's worth a try - babies that age change regularly so no harm in switching it up. It's also totally normal for a 9wk old to wake during the night, how long is she sleeping before waking?

@IcouldbutIdontwanttoI cant complain because she’s going nearly 6 hours, but then it seems to be from that waking that she can’t seem to settle again. Just wondering if that other half of the feed would keep her full enough to settle smoother again after waking.

There’s no harm in trying, but I’d expect a 9 week old to wake in the night no matter when or how much they’re fed at bedtime.

@mindutopiai think it’s more so that I’m wondering if the smaller feed is waking her up sooner than she’s ready?

Yes it’s perfectly normal for a 9 week old to wake in the night for a feed or even 2
