When did your babies reflux stop?

My baby is spitting up a significant amount every feed, not vomiting as it’s not forceful. But I think maybe 2-3 tablespoons most feeds, his weight gain is normal. I have tried cutting dairy out of my diet and it did not reduce as he is breastfed. I did this for 6 weeks. He is 4 months. I am just wondering when I can expect this to naturally come to an end? He’s not ready for weaning.

Is is just that he’s spitting up after a feed or is it full on crying and discomfort?

I had to cut dairy entirely and soy too. So zero takeaways/restaurant meals as most of them use soy for cooking.

Although for us it wasn't just reflux, he was visibly uncomfortable and crying while breastfeeding and just after as well.

My daughter was the same, constantly spitting up but seemed to be completely unfazed by it and gained weight perfectly. It slowed/ stopped a couple of months into weaning when she started eating more solids, and we started reducing formula. It wasn't a dairy thing as she as milk as part of her diet.

It just takes time with some but the constant spitting up was quite annoying 😅

Mine was much better around 6 months around the time he was sitting independently.

It didn't just stop, it just gradually got better over several months until one day I thought huh he's not been sick in a while! But at one point I thought it would never end, a very refluxy baby. No allergies or intolerances, we tried everything, he just needed to outgrow it. Started getting better when he was sitting up and eating solid food.

21 months. Just shy of 2. It was a looooong road. He was fine, was a super happy baby, gained weight etc etc but my goodness the vomit. We had to get new carpet in his bedroom.
