We are going out for the day tomorrow with our 3 year old and 9 month old with some friends and their children (3 and 9 years old).
We are going to a local country park which has outdoor play equipment, none of which are really suitable for a 9 month old. It’s all wooden construction with slides and climbing areas surrounded by bark. You have to walk between each play area within the woodland. It’s lovely, but definitely not somewhere I’d take my 9 month old out of choice, but it’s our 3 year olds birthday and she’s requested to go there to celebrate.
Anyway, my 9 month old has just started crawling too. Has anyone popped their little ones in waterproof suits and let them crawl around (heavily supervised of course)? I cannot imagine she will be happy to spend the whole day in the pram, and I wouldn’t expect her to, but I can’t think of what else she will be able to do! Just worried about her hands but I know she won’t keep mittens on!
Any suggestions?
