Hi mommies.A first time mom here!My baby is 9 months old currently. She is an active baby who loves to roam around house by crawling and stands up and do parallel walking. I am a stay at home mom who is thriving to get a job and become independent. So is there any ideas so that i can make my baby engaged in some activities or something i can do to keep her entertained for some time while i do my daily chores. Is miss Rachel age appropriate, I sometimes plays that video and make her to sit quiet for sometime. But its making me to think that I am a bad mother as I know screen time is not good for babies

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

9 months was terrible for self-entertainment, I found parenting very very intense at that age. Mine was sort of walking at 10 months too so he was very active but needed a lot of handholding etc.

There are no shows or videos suitable for that age, any screen time is damaging.

I think nursery or a babysitter your only option.

Any screen time is damaging as per PP?! 🙃 ok….
Well I thought Baby Einstein videos on YouTube were appropriate around that age, my son enjoyed them a lot, and he’s now incredibly emotionally and academically intelligent!
As an alternative engaging activity, was a big fan of getting stuff from the kitchen every now and again - plastic bowls, saucepans, whisks, wooden spoons, etc. out on the floor every now and again. Seem to hold my sons attention for a while as they were unusual “toys” and fun for him to muck around with and make some noise!
