Sore area on baby’s neck

Our 3.5 month old has really sore areas on her neck (within the folds of the skin) from where she dribbles her milk etc. I try to keep it as dry as possible, wearing a muslin bib but still it looks so sore. Any ideas what to put on it? Is it just a case of something like sudocrem? Although it feels like it needs drying out rather than a cream sitting wet on there.

My daughters both had/have this. All I do is make sure to wash daily/every other day with just water, and if it looked particularly sore I'd put some bepanthen but not sure how much that actually helped!

Absolutely sudocrem and just make sure you regularly pat the area dry and apply fresh cream.

My dd had this at a similar age, the doctor prescribed cream which cleared it in a couple of days- it never came back.
