Infant gaviscon for 7 week old

I’m going to start my 7 week old on gaviscon for reflux but I’m not sure what dosage will work best. The instructions say one sachet up to 6 times a day but I’m worried about constipation, and the dose being too much while he’s still young, would half a sachet in each bottle do the trick (I mean half of just one sachet, not the duo)? He has 6 bottles in a 24 hour period. He’s 14lbs so he’s a big lad for his age.

I mean, you should be asking a medical professional hoe to medicated your newborn op, not randomers online.... Fml...

Oh get a grip it’s gaviscon. I told my HV about him being sick and she literally said to get it and follow the instructions.
Look on mumsnet alone and you’ll find a hundred threads of people discussing it and checking what dosage/how often other people give it to their babies because they’re not getting on with the recommended dosage. I couldn’t find the answer to my specific question so I thought I’d ask.
