Is this teething or something else?

Hi, just looking for a bit of advice/emotional support. On Tuesday evening 7mo DD started crying inconsolably and was the same through the night, DH and I had to take shifts as she wasn't sleeping. Then she basically slept all day yesterday and was really drowsy when awake. She wouldn't sleep last night unless being held and walked around the house so DH and I were taking shifts again. She's had frequent loose nappies since yesterday, mustard like and smell very acidic. Also had a cough, runny nose, been sounding a bit wheezy, nappy rash, been roasting hot but no temperature and been really crying if she's put down.
It's been a rough couple of days and I'm hoping it's teething and not something else that I should be worried about?

Personally if my DD was like this and it was out of character I'd be trying to get a GP appointment.

Is she still eating/having milk regularly? Have you started weaning? Could it be a tummy ache linked with trying new foods? My DD 9 months had a lot of acidic/loose nappies when we started weaning and we thought teething but she still hasnt got any teeth and its got much better so assume it was a food issue.

Could also be an ear infection.

Sounds a bit teethy to me but equally could just be a bit of a bug.

I’d watch and wait for a few days before going to the GP unless any signs of infection eg red ear/pulling at ear/seeming to have a sore throat etc.

Always trust your instincts though!

Sounds like a virus. Not much you can do. I'd go to the GP to check for an ear infection as well.
