hiya everyone, we'll be travelling to my partners home country (south korea) in april! however im very worried about my lo's ears. she'll be just under 23 months at the time of travel and will be almost 24 months when we get back.

is there any sort of pressure relief ear plugs i can use for a child her age (or any sort of travel hack other than eating)??

it'll be her first ever flights (transfers) and the last thing i want is for her to be in pain for such a long time, especially paired with jet lag if she doesn't sleep well.

she's breastfed and still taking milk but im unsure if she'll still take at that age.
(let me know if this is the wrong topic to post under! i couldn't find international travel)
thanks !! :)

Just make sure she has something to suck on for take off and landing. Breastfeed will work great. But if she’s stopped nursing by then a yoghurt pouch, smoothie pouch or juice carton will all work. Ella’s kitchen do long life yoghurt and smoothie pouches that don’t need refrigerating and are under 100ml so are ideal for long journeys. You can also get calpol as individual dose sachets that are handy to have just in case. But I’ve never needed them because my 2 have never been bothered by their ears on a plane.

Does she generally have ear problems? If not, don't assume she will have issues with the flights, just breastfeed or give something to suck on.
