Toothpaste recommendations please!

My son is 4 and a half. We have always brushed his teeth twice a day, however the dentist has told me that the toothpaste we are using is not recommended as it is fluoride free. We currently use the banana Jack and Jill, as he doesn't like the mint or strawberry flavours in the supermarket.
I've ordered a berry one from Oral B, but he is spitting it out straight away and causing such a fuss!
Can anyone recommend a tastier one that he might like? I've seen a few on Amazon, but £14 for a tube of toothpaste seems extremely expensive!

My son has sensitivities to texture taste etc, and the dentist recommend OraNurse which is unflavoured. We haven't actually tried it as we found another one he liked, but maybe it's a possibility for your son?

Thanks, I'll have a Google. It's getting quite traumatic trying to get him to do it!

Another vote for OraNurse unflavoured toothpaste.

We use oranurse for one of our children. It’s has no flavour and doesn’t foam but it has the right amount of fluroide in it.

We use HiSmile, it’s the only ones that I’m told don’t have a “mint” flavour (even fruity ones of other brands are apparently . It’s expensive and you have to scrape the last bits out but it encourages tooth brushing without resistance.

Another one who uses oranurse as mine don’t like flavoured toothpaste . Especially mint. Not cheap but not awful especially when bought in bulk. Worth checking fluoride in Hismile , which I THINK is also lower fluoride than standard (would have to double check that)

I looked on the Hismile website, it says not for under 6 yrs old but it doesn’t say how much fluroide so I wouldn’t touch it.

The hismile kids range has some really good flavours, my kids love them and occasionally I will dabble 😂
