Taking 2 toddlers into playgroup on own

Advice please!! How do people manage this…

My DD is due to go to playgroup in a few weeks time when she turns 2, DS goes just now and they will both be at the group for around a month at the same time before he then goes to nursery. I’m on my own with them both on this day.
At the moment when I drop off DS it’s straightforward enough - DD stays in the buggy but as time goes on this is getting difficult as there are steep stairs into the hall and DD is a big girl for her age! DS is good at getting up the stairs on his own and waiting on us.
The car park is also really busy at times.
Both DS and DD are good at holding my/DH hand but won’t hold each others. They have a tendency to decide they don’t want to walk at times which is stressing me out as I do struggle to carry them both at the same time!

I had twins.

reins. Forcible hand holding.

You’ll figure it out and after a few times you’ll wonder what on earth you were doing anxious about. Get some reins, if they won’t hold onto your hands. Get reins anyway so that even if they are walking nicely they can’t bolt. They’ll learn quickly.
