5 year old lying

So my 5 year old has started to lie quite a lot. It can be over silly things like the tooth fairy didn’t leave her money to blaming a child for biting her when she’s done it herself. she knows the difference between right and wrong so I think it down to attention seeking. New baby on the way so I don’t know if she’s pushing boundaries.

any tips?

Lying is a normal aspect of child development, read up properly on a serious, reputable website.

One thing that can make it worse is parental overreaction.
