what should my 1 year old be drinking out of?!
he has between 7oz and 9oz cow milk every night before bed in his Dr Browns bottle.

during the day he's got a phillips advent sippy cup it's plastic will a rubber teat quite fast flowing he sucks his water out.
problem is only holds 200ml this boy does it all in one sometimes.

I've tryed giving him a straw but he don't understand and gets annoyed - then it's thrown at usually the dog 😂 I don't kno what I'm supposed to be moving him on to?

My 16 month old has her morning cows milk out of a munchkin 360 cup but still has her bedtime one out of her bottle. We are going away next month so will give her the same cup she has on a morning from then so that seems a good time to move on from
bottles all together.

DS has his bedtime milk out of this now, bought especially for bedtime as it holds more than his other cups. The first time we presented it instead of his bottle he cried and refused it but as soon as he realised it was the same milk inside he was perfectly happy.

Top tip for learning to use a straw cup though, smear a bit of yoghurt or cream cheese or whatever they like on the outside of the straw. They’ll suck it off and learn that that’s how they get water too.
