Stopping HRT to get pregnant.

Has anyone been on HRT and come off it successfully to get pregnant? I'm considering another child but worried about coming off HRT and think maybe it is just not meant to be.

Respectfully, if you are far enough into perimenopause to need HRT, your reproductive days are probably behind you. I’m 45 with a period about 4 times a year and I don’t need HRT yet. I wouldn’t want to and probably couldn’t get pregnant easily. If you are young and jumped the gun with the HRT and think it really isn’t perimenopause, then that’s one thing.

Of course, you can always come up it. It’s safe to do so, but your chances of getting pregnant, and most importantly, having a healthy child are probably quite slim. It’s normal I think to have this last panic about having babies, but it’s just hormones being weird.
