Teething baby, help

My little girl turned 4 months old today but for the past couple of weeks she seems to have started teething. She’s been constantly pulling at her gums and aggressively eating her hands whilst crying or screaming. She normally chews on her hands anyways but this is constantly now. We’ve tried the teething powder and been using calpol and nurofen we’ve also got loads of teething toys but because she’s still little she can’t get them to her mouth properly and would rather just chew her hands. I went to get anbesol liquid for her but they wouldn’t sell me it with her being under 5 months. I’ve heard spring onions can help but unsure if she can have them with her being so young. I really don’t know what to do and would really appreciate any advice

I'd keep alternating the Calpol and ibuprofen. Can you freeze the teething toys and hold it for her to gnaw on? Definitely no spring onion (or other food) she's much too young.

Pop a cold wet flannel in the fridge for her to suck on/check on.

Ashton's & Parsons teething stuff is pretty much the only age appropriate stuff for a 4m old.

Distract, cuddle and ibuprofen before bedtime. Don't exceed the dose.

It'll pass.

It might be teething, might be a growth spurt, might be a leap. Just life through it.

Don't freeze the teething toys! Fridge only.
