What food to pack for a preschooler

My ds gets school dinners as that's what i prefer as I normally cook from scratch at home. But he's always asking me for a packed lunch as he sees that some of his friends bring packed lunches. I would like to mix and match with school dinners. Apart from sandwiches, pizza, crisps, fruit, what else do you pack?

Of the top of my head we add things like:
Dried fruit like raisins, dates, mango, strawberries etc
Olives, cucumber
cubed cheese
breadsticks and cream cheese

Those are our easy middle of the week options to bulk out the packed lunch.

Also make muffins - not too sweet and hide some veg in them.
