Double buggy for newborn and toddler

I have a 2.5 year old toddler who weighs about 13.5kg and an 8 week old baby who is on the 98th percentile for length. Thought I could get away without a double buggy, but realising it would be really handy as the baby is already getting pretty heavy in the sling!
Looking for something that is quite compact as the pavements where I live are narrow. And preferably something that will fold up reasonably small so it’s easy to store and fit in our cars.
I liked the look of the Baby Jogger City Tour double - but it says maximum weight is 15kg, so would my toddler last long in it really?
Have also looked at the Roma Gemini double as it goes to 22kg, but unsure how small it folds up.
Don’t want to spend loads as it won’t be used everyday.
Also to add, I live on a small island so second hand ones don’t come up too often and we don’t have any shops that sell double buggies, so I can’t actually test any of them. Relying on recommendations and hoping the right pram can be shipped here!

The mountain buggy duet could be what you are looking for. It goes up to 18kg. Has the same wheel base as a single pram so not too wide and great for off road too.

The mountain buggy duet does look good, just a bit more expensive than we’d like!
