My DS is 11 weeks and has started doing longer stretches at night - last night he had 110ml at 9.30 and then slept until 5.15am. the other night we went 11pm-4.10am.

I can't remember from my first born (now 5years) if this is common or should I still be waking him?

As long as he isn’t under weight and is gaining wellnlet him sleep and enjoy it!!

I definitely wouldn’t be waking him!! As long he’s gaining weight okay? Make the most of it, it may not last!

I never understood the whole “wake up the baby to feed” idea. If they’re hungry, they’ll definitely let you know.

Both of mine slept 12 hours straight (7–7) by the time they were 12 weeks old. I never once woke them up—and I was so glad to finally get some sleep myself! They gained weight well, too.

Some babies just prefer to take in all their milk during the day so they don’t need it at night.
Unless there’s an underlying issue, I definitely wouldn’t wake him.
